At the feet of the Holy Spirit

Everything you need now, and everything you will ever need is found in God; whether seen or unseen, whether known or unknown.

Unseen things exist. E.gs:

  1. The air we breathe in
  2. The Holy Spirit
  3. Man’s spirit

Unknown solutions exist:

  1. Crossing the sea (Exodus 14)
  2. Jesus walking on water. Mathew 14: 25, Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

Our limitation is experience. The things in our realm of understanding. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Lean not on your experience.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight. Sight is the greatest enemy of faith. Sight shows you what is; faith shows you what could be.

  1. You are sick but you could be healed.
  2. You are poor but you could be rich
  3. You are single but you could be married.

While you are sick, weak, and having headache, are you able to open your spiritual eyes and see yourself as healed? Are you able to feel strong and free from headache? Are you able to imagine what could be?

Ephesians 3:20  Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us

What you can imagine is more important than what you know. What lies in the spiritual is more important than what is in the physical.

God wants to show us many possibilities in the spiritual but we have fixed our focus on our experience, and the experiences handed to us by our ancestors.

Reconnecting with the Holy Spirit

For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. — 1 Corinthians 2:11-12

But as Scripture says: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” God has revealed those things to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches everything, especially the deep things of God.— 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (GW)
